Whether you are visiting for the first time, have been before or are just simply exploring church, you are most welcome! Please do come as you are. We would love to meet you and look forward to welcoming you at 10:45am on Sunday Morning.
What's it like on a Sunday morning?
Our Sunday morning services take place in our church building at 10:45am. We are a diverse, multicultural congregation made up of people of all ages, nationalities, colours and backgrounds. There are around 30 nations represented in our church family. We gather together to worship God in many different ways. A regular service consists of sung worship, a sermon (teaching on God's Word), prayer, a time of testimony, activities for children and young people, and more. We share communion together on the first Sunday of every month. After the service, light refreshments are served.
Children and Young People
Children and young people are important to us. During the service there are often all-age activities which children and young people are encouraged to join in with. There is also an opportunity for them to leave for their own activities which are led by trained, DBS checked volunteers who are members of our congregation.
Students
We are located about a ten minute walk from many local colleges and universities including both De Montfort University and Leicester University. We have established a healthy student population over the years due to our closeness to each campus. At Central we look to integrate students into the regular life of the church through Sunday morning services, our 18-30's small group and social events. Students also have the opportunity to serve in areas of church ministry. We want to make all students feel welcome, and provide a home away from home.
